AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WFXG) - The Aiken County Public School District is participating in the Seamless Summer Meal Program.

Over the summer, healthy meals will be provided at no cost to school aged children 18 years and under. The program also serves disabled children and persons 21 years and under who are enrolled in school. The school district says they do this to ensure children have access to nutritious foods they need when school in not in session.

Meals will be available Monday thru Thursday (June 10-27) at the following locations:

  • Aiken High
  • Midland Valley High
  • North Augusta High
  • Ridge Spring-Monetta High
  • Silver Bluff High
  • South Aiken High
  • Wagener-Salley High

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Lunch is 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All meals must be eaten on site. The school district says adults are welcome to eat with their children, but they will have to pay. Breakfast costs $3.10 and lunch cost $4.85.
