AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WFXG) - UPDATE: According to Captain Eric Abdullah with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, Christion Reeves turned himself in to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office today. Capt. Abdullah says Reeves is being taken to the detention center to be booked on his outstanding arrest warrants for Murder and Possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) is looking for a man wanted in connection to a murder in Graniteville. The sheriff's office obtained arrest warrants for Christion Alexander Reeves, 22 of Aiken in relation to the death of Richard Carroll Jr.

Police have been investigating Carroll's death since June 8. Deputies responded to a hospital after reports of a male being brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Investigators say initial leads led them to the intersection of Sage Creek Blvd. and Bettis Academy Road as the possible incident location. After further investigation it was determined that the shooting happened at a home off Red Rock Way in Graniteville.

Reeves is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during Violent Crime. The sheriff's office says he should be considered armed and dangerous.
